3.1.6.4.13.5.  Favorites " selection

You can save frequently used directories or projects using the context menu command Add to favorites on the Favorites tab page.

You will find the Add to favorites context menu command on the Catalogues [Catalogs], Symbols, Details, Classifications, History, Analyses and Search results dialog pages.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the project or directory that you would like to add to the favorites.

  2. Click on the context menu command Add to favorites.

  3. -> The Add to favorites dialog box opens.

    The existing directory structure is displayed in the dialog box.

    You now have the following options:

    • Select the desired directory in the directory tree or, if required, create [Create directory] additional directories beforehand using Create directory.

    • Select the desired storage path in the list field under History.

      At each saving the history of the target directories is also saved.

  4. Finally, confirm with OK.

    -> Your selection is now available on the Favorites tab page.

Exporting [Export favorites] favorites / Importing favor [Import favorites] ites

On the Favorites tab page, you will find the Export favorites / Import favor [Import favorites] ites commands at directory level.

This will help you easily transfer your personal favorites onto another computer.

Tips:

  • For favorites that you have saved on the Search results tab page using the Save search results in favorites method, the same column information will be available again later on the Favorites tab page in the Search results section, the same column information is also available again. See also Section 3.1.6.7.5, “ Save search results: in favorites / in file”.

  • On the tab page Favorites tab page, you can perform any other searches based on search results using the context menu command.
