8.3.4. How can I find similar parts based on a catalog part?

  1. Select product groups until a specific assembly or a specific individual part is specified and then select a concrete expression.

  2. Select the Similar parts Tabbed page.

  3. Adjust the following options if necessary:

    • Hide under: Use the slider to set the desired percentage.

    • Search in all catalogs: Yes/No

    • Note size: Yes / No (shape only)

  4. Click on the Geometric search button.

    ➝ The similar components found are listed below the setting options.

    Click on the black arrow at the beginning of each line to open the preview [Preview] directly.
