You can request the release of parts, which are blocked for export, via e-mail at the standardization department for example directly from PARTdataManager.

Clicking on the Request ERP number by e-mail [Request ERP number per e-mail] button opens the Send e-mail dialog box and the information on the opened component can be sent directly from the dialog by e-mail, for example to the standards body.

The fields Folder, Standard number and Description [Designation] are automatically taken from the selected data record.

Send to can be freely configured within the plinkcommon.cfg file: Block MAIL, SENDTO

The e-mail gets a .psmid file as attachment. Via double-click on this file PARTdataManager opens with the respective project and line.

The e-mail itself contains all the important information about the part, including the MIDENT ("Internal identification of the part"), which uniquely identifies a part. See also Section 2.1.16.2.6.9, “ Open part by MIDENT ”.

The last line contains a batch command, which opens the part in PARTdataManager.
