1.1.1.2.1.2. Catalog Division

  • Summarizing Log Entries

The large number of log entries has been reduced. The log window now groups similar messages together. Additional context information, such as the affected project paths, can be viewed by expanding the respective warning. This keeps the log clear and easy to read, while still providing all relevant contextual information. A counter in parentheses next to the warning indicates how many similar warnings have been grouped into a single entry.

  • Copying Additional Files

During catalog separation (Brand Separation), additional files whose paths or selections are based on table variables are now also correctly taken into account. This ensures that all required files are reliably included when creating separate catalogs .

For example, .edz files should be copied from group/data/edz_files to target/data/edz_files.

A new configuration option has been added at the catalog level that allows you to define directories that should be copied as-is. These directories must be subdirectories of the respective catalog group.

In the second column, you can specify a comma-separated list of destination directories .

    [Note]Note

Directories that are copied using this option must not be additionally processed or copied by the normal Catalog Separation.

This means: Copying files such as .dxf or .STEP files is permitted. Projects should not be copied in this manner. An exception is made, for example, for “symbols” projects (e.g., in Ganter), since these are not processed by the normal catalog separation.

In general, such directories should be placed directly in the root directory of the source catalog or directly under "data/":

    cataloggroup/symbols
    cataloggroup/data/step_files
