Since V12.13, components can be compared with each other in PARTdesigner. See Section 1.2.1.3.1.12, “ 3D comparison: 3db <-> STEP file”.

V12.14 includes a few minor changes:

  • Loading STEP (geometry file) is allowed in an empty environment (if STEP is to be loaded for measurements)

  • The current geometry is always loaded as the left part

  • You can reload a part (button in the upper left corner)

  • Button for loading from CAD removed

  • Button for printing results removed
