Click on catalogues [Catalogs] > All catalogues (alphabetically). [All Catalogs (Alphabetical)]

-> All installed catalogs are displayed.

Note "All" means all those approved for the currently selected role.

Click to the icon (The tooltip currently shows preferred rows from [Preferred rows off] [Default]).

-> The Icon is now displayed in blue (The tooltip now shows preferred rows [Peferred rows on].)

-> Only catalogs that contain preferred parts are displayed.

This example uses the "Norm" ["Industry Standards"] catalog for demonstration purposes.

Deactivate the filter again and browse for the desired part or use a search method (e.g. full text search).

Next directory level below the standard catalog

-> Each directory is color-coded.

Note The color scheme depends on administrative default settings and is role-dependent. The exact meaning of the icons and colors can be found in the ERP legend [ERP Legend]. Note The displayed colors are not necessarily related to the preferred row filter, but there is usually a connection. Example: If the filter is activated, only directories that are green are displayed.

Click through until you reach the part level or carry out a full text search, for example.

Note As a rule, the preferred series filter is combined with an export restriction to ensure that users do not export and install parts that are not managed in ERP/PDM.

Activate the preferred row filter.

-> parts without an ERP number () are no longer displayed.

Note If you carry out any search with the preferred series filter activated, the result parts also correspond to the stored filter rule.

-> Parts that are still displayed can also be exported and installed.
