Industry-Forum 2017: The award-winning Ryerson Hyperloop team demonstrates how designs with AIA NAS standard parts by CADENAS are accelerated

At this year's Industry Forum, students from Ryerson University will give exclusive insights into their Hyperloop project

The Hyperloop is a theoretical concept of pipes for transportation, recently proposed by Elon Musk, who is also known for his involvement in Tesla Motors and SpaceX. The concept for high-speed transport systems is based on the technology of the transrapid. Transport capsules, which are driven by solar energy, are to be transported on air cushions through a tube, similar to tube mail.

The project has been publicly advertised so that other companies as well as universities can contribute their ideas.

The Ryerson Hyperloop team uses digital 3D components of the AIA National Aerospace Standard (NAS), which are implemented on the basis of CADENAS technology. The search for suitable 3D engineering data is significantly reduced so that the engineers could concentrate on, for example, the design of the extendable wheel system.
