6.7. Changes for setting up the ERP environment

As of V12.6 the setup of ERP environment is very different.[73]

  • User creation and database connection changed in V12

    • Naming, structure and content of categories changed from V12 SP5 to V12.6

    • Category ERP environment -> User does not exist anymore in V12.6.

      • Database connection -> Now in its own category

        Set DB and DBO User/Password here. It is saved in odbc.cfg or jdbc.cfg. dbproxy.cfg does not exist anymore.

      • Creation of ERP Users now takes place in Rights administration -> User databases -> ERP (plinkusers).

      Now with the option to group users into groups

      User/Password is saved in plinkusers.cfg.

  • New dialog Authentication user

  • Setup OpenID -> Azure: See Section 1.4.5.8.3.2.1.1, “Microsoft Azure AD / Entra ID ” in ENTERPRISE 3Dfindit (Professional) - Administration.

  • Automatic login: See Section 4.22.3.7, “ Automatic login ” in ENTERPRISE 3Dfindit (Professional) - Administration.

    Among others pappclient.cfg -> key applications has been removed.

  • SiteSetup-Sync does not exist anymore
