If you are satisfied with your selection, click on the Download/install selected catalogs [Download/install selected catalogs] button and the update process will start.

The view changes to the Download tab page.

Optionally, you can deactivate the Install after download [Install after download] checkbox.

If you do not have the downloaded catalogs installed automatically at the same time, they will remain in the temp directory defined on the Catalog update -> Settings -> Download directory ) Tabbed page.

This gives you the option of switching to the Offline category [Category] and using the Check and Compare functions. See Section 1.3.3.4, “ "Check" and "Compare " before installing the catalog ”.

Up to installation the catalog is displayed with a blue icon in the catalogs listing.

If you activate the checkbox, use the Browse ... button to specify a target path. button to specify a target path. The original CIP file is saved in the target directory. You may want to install an older version again later for some reason (test purposes).

If you have not selected "cadenas_thread.cip", the following message appears:

New CADENAS additional data available (f.e. thread definitions)

It is recommended to perform this update or other catalogs might not work correctly.

Select "Yes " to select the definitions and start the catalog update, "No" to start the catalog update without the definitions or "Cancel" to cancel the catalog update.

In addition to the latest thread definitions, the file also contains the tag lists (TagCloud) for all catalogs. Compare Section 3.1.6.8.1, “Docking window "Details " ” in PARTsolutions user manual.
