2.3.9.4.6.1. Field names in Solid Edge

In Solid Edge, for example, you would like to additionally fill in the Manager field on the Info tab page in the file properties.

  1. Get the correct field name from the table (see Section 2.3.9.4.6.1, “ Field names in Solid Edge”) and note in which block the field name appears (Manager appears under DocumentSummaryInformation )

  2. Open the DocumentSummaryInformation block under PARTadmin -> Category -> Configuration files -> $CADENAS _SETUP -> ifsolidedge.cfg.

  3. Insert a key. In this example "Manager".

    Example 1:

    was entered.

    This simple syntax can be used for simple text output

    The key name in PARTsolutions corresponds to the field name in Solid Edge. The key value is the output text in Solid Edge.

  4. Save the setting in PARTadmin.

  5. Export a part to Solid Edge.

    -> The Manager field is now filled.
