It is now possible to hide the default column in the translation table using the Hide default column checkbox.
If the checkbox is activated, the language columns (e.g. English) and the default column are compared line by line.
If there are differences, a query appears asking whether all values from the default language (e.g. English) should be copied to the default column.
If you click , all rows with different values are highlighted in orange and you can edit the values yourself.
The status of the Hide column by
default [Hide default column] checkbox is saved in the configuration file at
$CADENAS_USER -> pproject.cfg.
If there are no differences, the "default" column will be hidden and any changes you make in the default language column (e.g. English) will be applied to the hidden "default" column.
If you switch from one project in which the checkbox was activated to another, the columns are also compared so that no hidden existing differences can appear between the two columns.
If no default language is selected for the catalog on the General tabbed page, the checkbox is greyed out (deactivated) and cannot be activated.
