7.8.5.  Delete variable

In order to delete a variable, do the following:

  1. Select the desired variable in the list.

  2. Click on the button Delete.

[Note]Note

  • Deleting is only possible if all drawing elements created with the help of this variable, have been deleted before. Variables used in sketches cannot be deleted. In this case the following message is displayed in the dialog area below: Variable is still in use..

  • Variable entries in the identification data [Identification data] -> Table tab page must be renamed/deleted accordingly.

[Note]Note

When deleting variables, always make sure that the variable is not used anywhere.

Otherwise, the following error message appears during the QA check
