1.6.1.3. Filtering blocks and keys

You can filter the displayed configuration files, blocks, keys and key values in the middle dialog area at the top.

Use either preconfigured filters or a full-text search:

  • Preconfigured filter

Preconfigured filters are based on settings in the configuration file or on the SITESETUP directory:

    • All keys [All Keys] (default)

      No filter

    • Only important keys [31]

In order to ensure basic functionality, the "important" keys have to be adjusted in any case.

For more complex settings, you will find further information on the right in the Documentation dialog area.

      [Tip]Tip

It is recommended to perform these adjustments first and then possibly others.

The filter especially affects configuration files of interfaces.

      [Note]Note

      Information for updaters:

In earlier PARTsolutions versions, you could make these adjustments under the CAD integration category.

    • Only changed keys (SITESETUP)

Here, you can overview your adjustments anytime.

Using this filter only works if the SITESETUP has been activated. On this see Section 1.6.6, “ $CADENAS_SITESETUP”.

    • Only keys present in SITESETUP

If a key changes or is cancelled in a version it is not in SETUP anymore. However, if the user had changed it some day, it is in SITESETUP further on.

Using this filter you will get exactly these keys.

  • Full-text search

Filter the display with a search term. Enter the term in the Filter input field.

The name of configuration files, blocks, keys and key values are searched. The search term can appear anywhere (at the beginning, at the end, in the middle).

Start searching by clicking on the icon or press "Enter". When clicking on 'x' you can clear the input field.

[31] These keys are marked with the tag "SIMPLE". See Section 1.6.2, “Editing configuration files on file level ” -> #:SIMPLE;
