The Generate standardization system [Create standardization system] function relates exclusively to the standards classification.
It is executed automatically during a LIVE generation and can be executed manually using the Generate standardization system [Create standardization system] command. This creates or updates the classification.
If projects are not to be classified based on the description, a NO is entered in PARTproject under Edit project -> General tab -> General -> Similar to standard (optional) [Similar to standard parts (optional)] a NO is entered.
Click on Create scaling system [Create standardization system] to open the corresponding dialog.
Start the generation by clicking on , save the change and update the index. See Section 1.3.3.6, “ Index administration ” in PARTsolutions Administration - Manual .
-> In the part selection [Part selection] of the PARTdataManager the Standards classification is displayed on the Classifications tab page.
The subdivision within standards has three levels.
