5.9.12. Tabbed page: Picture

The Image tab page only appears at directory level.

Images can be stored for catalogs or directories, which then appear in the PARTdataManager as a call symbol.

The image for the catalog itself should be named katalog.bmp or katalog.png.

Do you want to import an image file?

  1. Select the desired directory level in the project selection [Project selection] on the left.

  2. Select the Image tab on the right under Edit project.

  3. Click on Import.

    -> The Explorer is opened.

  4. Select the desired preview image in the Explorer and confirm with Open.

    Possibly a note is displayed: "Do you want to overwrite the file?" Confirm with "Yes".

    -> The image is displayed on the right in the Preview dialog area.

  5. Start PARTdataManager from PARTproject using the context menu command Open with PARTdataManager.

    -> The selected preview image is now displayed in the PARTdataManager displayed.

Do you want to edit the preview image?

  1. Select the desired directory level in the project selection [Project selection] on the left.

  2. Select the Image tab on the right under Edit project.

  3. Click on the Edit button.

    -> The graphic program set for the respective file extension via Windows setting options is started.
