4.15.3.1.1. Preparation

  1. Install Bikecompany V1.

    PARTadmin -> Catalog update -> Offline

    PARTadmin -> Catalog update -> Offline

  2. Import all projects from "Bikecompany" into the PARTlinkManager.

  3. Assign ERP numbers to the single lines.[77]

    Select all data records and click on Assign ERP numbers in the context menu.

  4. The Generate value sequence dialog box opens.

    Click on Generate and then confirm with Ok.

    -> The automatically generated ERP numbers are assigned.

  5. Select all data records again and click on Set fields -> Current status [Active status] in the context menu.

  6. The Set values dialog box opens.

    Select Released in the list field and confirm with OK.

  7. The PARTlinkManager now shows a small but realistic initial situation. Based on this data, the functions of the Update Manager [Update manager] will now be explained.

  8. Open the PARTdataManager and select the "Bikecompany" catalog.

  9. Open the projects "Piston", "Piston ring" and "Spoke".
