5.12.6.3.  Index update

So that changes to the classification and assignments of classes and features to projects are available in 3Dfindit or PARTdataManager, indexes have to be updated. You can do this most conveniently directly in PARTproject [49].

After projects have been classified, i.e. assigned classes and, if necessary, characteristics, the display index and classification index must be updated.

To do this, click on the Update index and Update classification index buttons.

Classified projects are now displayed in 3Dfindit.

By default , PARTdataManager only Classes to which projects have already been assigned. The behavior can be set for each classification via configuration file. [50]
