Mostly pictures look better with transparent background in the data sheet.

PDF does not support transparency in pictures. However, "masking" can achieve a similar effect. In most of the cases the difference does not become visible. Smaller differences may sometimes occur.

In PARTtemplateDesigner there is the option Mask transparency for images with V12. Default is "off", which ensures backwards compatibility.

Precondition is that the picture has been saved with transparency (all formats which can transparency).
