[Note]Note

The directory sorting [Sorting of the directory] setting option is only displayed at directory level.

The setting only affects the default display, which you can change at any time.

When a new directory is created, Set sorting [Define sorting] is automatically set by default.

However, they have under Tools [Extras] menu > Settings... > General the possibility to switch to alphabetical sorting [Alphabetical sorting] . [30]

The index must be updated after changes.

  • Set sorting [Define sorting]

    With this selection you can determine the sorting individually.

  • Alphabetical sorting

Procedure for changing

  1. Select the directory in which you want to change the order of the subdirectories and/or projects.

  2. Call up the context menu command Sort directory.

    -> The Sequence dialog box opens.

  3. If there are both subdirectories and projects, these are displayed in two blocks. Select the desired one and move up or down using the arrow buttons.

    You also have the option of switching to the other sorting mode by activating/deactivating the Alphabetical sorting checkbox.
