Search results

The report has the following structure:

Search parts are numbered consecutively on the left side.

The found duplicates in relation to the respective search part are listed next on the right side.

Via buttons next to each part you can perform the following actions:

Button	Tooltip during mouseover	Function
	Go to directory in catalog index	The project is marked in PARTdataManager in the Part selection in the index tree.
	Open project	The project is opened in PARTdataManager in the 3D preview.
	compare part	Command used at a found part: The search part and the result part are loaded in PARTdataManager, in the Search dialog box, in the Compare index page. Command used at a search part: The search part and all found parts are loaded in PARTdataManager, in the Search dialog box, in the Compare index page. See following figures.

Functions within the report

In the opened report you have the following functions available:

Button	Function
Search part...	This function is available for Duplicate search, Make or Buy report, Supplier search and Cost mockup. Search for keyword, ERP number, material or release status for example (when ERP integration is used, then the displayed ERP columns are dependent from the current role). Preferably search with the option Show parts. With click on a search result you directly jump to the related part in the report.
Print	A print preview appears with different view modes and a section for the print settings.
Open report folder (HTML)	The report folder is opened. (All created reports are saved in the user directory under `$CADENAS_USER\cadenas\partsolutions_v9\Reports\MakeOrBuy`.)
Export	You can export the report in different formats. Click the little, black arrow on the button. -> A menu opens. There you have the following options: HTML... ZIP... Send ZIP as mail... PDF...
Close	The dialog box is closed.

Call up created reports later again

All created reports are stored and can anytime later be called up again:

Select the desired report.

After this you have the following functions available:

Button	Function
Display	The report is opened.
Delete	The report is deleted.
Open report folder	The report folder is opened. All created reports are stored in the user directory under `$CADENAS_USER\cadenas\partsolutions_v9\Reports\MakeOrBuy`.
Select index directory	The directory, whereupon the report is based, is marked in the index tree.
Import report...	Communicate cross-departmentally. Import the reports of others. An Explorer window opens. Select the report to import. On this compare the Search part... function. See above.
Close	The dialog box is closed.
