5.1.6. Support for internal company workflows

Request ERP number: Request for part approval by email from the 3Dfindit module

  • User requests the part creation in the ERP system by email

    The part is blocked by the red position of the so-called traffic light circuit.

  • The corresponding data record information is sent as an email to the ERP administrator or standardization body (or a preset person).

    Alternatively, the workflow can take place via the dashboard and the integrated part number manager.

  • Advantage: Control of the installation of new parts by a responsible person.

  • Disadvantage: Users may have to spend a considerable amount of time before they can use the part; additional work is required for the ERP administrator.

Using VBS scripting, additional processes based on existing company-internal workflows can be easily integrated into the 3Dfindit interface.
