With V11, for Topology search new topology types have been added:

Examples:

  • Search for Circular pattern

  • Search for width and hight of a linear pattern

  • Search for elongated cylinders (slotted holes)

[Tip]Tip

With the use of Capvidia (additional software requiring a license) topological attributes of your company parts are made available on highest level in the PARTsolutions catalog.[20]Without Capvidia, for example, slotted hole patterns and slotted holes will not be found.

Call Topology search

  1. Call the Topology search in the opened dialog area of search methods.

    -> The same named dialog box appears.

  2. Select one or more search conditions.

  3. Close the dialog by clicking on Commit and start the search.

In this example a search is performed with the following topological characteristics: Angle = 120°, Symmetry = axisymmetric, Inner Cylinders = 1

Help text in the tooltip

When moving the cursor over a button, in the tooltip, information on the respective setting options is displayed.
