There is now also a keyboard shortcut "I" for isometric view [View isometric].

Setting in PARTdesigner > Extras menu > Settings... > PARTdesigner menu item > Tabbed page General > Keyboard shortcuts

Simply click on "I" or "i" in the 3D view of PARTdesigner. Upper or lower case does not matter.
