10.6.3. Hide table columns

Example:

Initial situation: The IDNR column is to be hidden.

  1. Open the Media Editor [Media editor] via Settings menu -> Template settings [Template configuration] -> Edit media variables.

  2. Select the PSOL_TABLE option at the top right of the list field.

  3. For example, select the variable _Columnsin the lower half of the dialog box[117]and click on Edit.

    -> The upper half of the dialog window is now activated (previously it was greyed out) and the settings for column [Column] (column display), format [Format] (row formatting) and title [Title] (title formatting) become visible.

  4. In the upper half of the dialog box, click into the free area anywhere and then on the icon .

    -> A new line is added.

  5. Under Column, open the list field and select the column to be hidden.

    Take care that you select the entry with the prefixed minus character. (In the following exemplary figure this is the entry "-IDNR").

  6. Click on Save.

  7. Close the dialog box by clicking on Ok.

  8. Update the table.

Result: The IDNR column is now hidden.
