The subassembly structure can also be transferred to the CAD system, although the method was changed in V12.8.

The ExportSubAssemblyStructure key has been removed.

For example, use the PS3-V2 3D format (other formats will follow).

  1. Activate the Show advanced settings option in the export dialog.

  2. Activate the Export sub-assembly structure [Exporting Sub-Assembly Structure] option on the Filter Tabbed page.

  3. Download in the CAD system the PS3 file via PARTsolutions menu -> PS3 file loading [Load PS3-File].

The following two illustrations show an example of the result in NX, once without and once with a sub-assembly structure.
