The full text search [Full-text search] is ideal as a standard search for standard parts and manufacturer catalogs.
At own part catalogs you can search for topological linear dimensions. Otherwise search options depend on the availability of a maintained characteristic attribute table. If an ERP integration exists, you can search for ERP data such as ERP number, material, release state, etc.
The search explores characteristic attribute table, classification, standard name, standard number, standard text, name of directories, topological index and LinkDB (if ERP integration is available).
In this chapter you will first find a small example and then detailed information on the various search options. The full text search [Full-text search] is opened and activated by default when the program is started.
