5.12.6.1.1.  Class types

A classification can be designed for different class types [Types of classes] (e.g. parts or for connection points [Connection points] ).

If there are several options, select the desired option in the list field under Filter before assigning:

  • Classes

  • Attachment points [Connection points]

  • Axles [Axes]

  • Coordinate system

  • Edges

  • Surfaces

  • Sketch

  • PLANE

For most classifications, only the Classes option is available.

There are various selection options for the CNS classification. The Append points [Connection points] option is used particularly often.

There are two methods for this:

  1. Selection Classification @ CNS

  2. Select classification 3D view: The advantage of this procedure is that you have a direct reference to the component.
