2.7.3.5. Search and analyze clustering results

Purpose

The clustering detail view is intended solely for viewing a saved clustering. Navigation, status analysis, the graph, opening parts, and workspace settings are described as separate sub-processes so that administrators can use each aspect independently .

Requirements

  • The logged-in account requires clustering-view.

  • In the clustering overview, a completed, saved clustering must be available.

  • clustering-edit displays "Clipboard" and the controls for editing the tree. These data-modifying operations are intentionally excluded here and described in separate procedures .

Sub-processes

The following sections describe each aspect of the detail view individually.

Sub-processes of the detailed view of clustering

Partial Process

Scope

Select a result category

Open a result, select a tree section, navigate from a cluster map, and load additional clusters.

Filter and analyze test status

Filter status values and analyze status displays, summary statistics, and the distribution of cluster sizes.

Hierarchy Graph Navigate

View the hierarchy graph using the mouse, keyboard, and accessible node controls, and navigate within it.

Check parts in view mode

Open individual parts without activating editing functions.

Adjust the workspace

Adjust and reset settings for the graph, overview, and range sizes.

Result

The administrator can view the saved hierarchy and its validation context without modifying the clustering data. Validating parts, correcting membership, using the "Clipboard," and making changes to the tree are separate editing processes.
