Please pay attention to the correct setting with regard to tolerances! Problems can occur with small components with very small features (<0.01mm) and very large components with small features (40m steel strip with 1mm rounding).

There are three standard templates for the Q&S import in the Quick & Simple node of a pipeline:

Quick & Simple Node > Node Editor

Quick & Simple Node > Node Editor

  • strict:

    • There must only be solids

    • All surfaces must be assigned to the solids

    • Under the built-in tolerance of Parasolid there is no error in the model (open surfaces)

  • lazy: The above points are not enforced, but reported

  • lazy crash: Like lazy, but will deal with known problems that may lead to an error

These templates should also be used in this order.
