1.1.5.6. Validate mappings

For large projects with thousands of lines, a step-by-step or selective approach is usually used. A validation step is performed before an export (to a CSV file or directly to the LinkDB). It is then possible to export only valid products step by step. See the filter options in the CSV export dialog.

There are always two options for validation:

  • Validate a single line via icon in the link editor [Link Editor] (see above )

  • Validate the displayed table via the Validate button

    The button offers two options:

    • Links with 100% Quality:

    • Links in current view:

The current view can be filtered. To do this, click on the Filter icon .

-> The Product filter dialog box opens.

The illustration shows an example of how variants are filtered out of the table. After confirming with "OK", only rows that are not variants are displayed.

If all mapping/links are valid, all table rows show a green "V" and the folders in the PSol Catalogs dialog are also green.

You do not have to edit everything at once. You can just as easily export only valid links in several steps.
