3.6.3.1.2. Example for a rotative simulation with an AFAG RE-50 rotary module
  1. Switch to configuration mode in PARTdataManager and check which rule represents the connection between the moving parts.

  2. In the Positioning dialog area, the Rotation " Free [free] " checkbox must be activated and the min. [Min] and max. values must be specified according to the physical limits of the "real" product.

  3. Click on Simulation, then Add, then select Actuator > Actuator Linear > Physical Limit (Rotation) and confirm with OK.

    Determine the values of the attributes according to the real product.

  4. Optionally, movement profiles can also be added. See above.

  5. Finish by clicking on OK.

  6. Click Save configuration in the Configurator menu.

  7. The component is now ready for export for testing. See below.
