The Status tab page gives you an overview of:

  • Licenses currently in use

  • Currently connected clients

Dynamic Nodelocked licenses are not displayed on the Status tab page.

  • Currently occupied licenses [Licenses currently in use]:

    In the dialog area on the left side the currently used product licenses are listed with specific information.

    When selecting a single product license, then beside on the right side those clients are listed, which are using the respective license at the moment.

    • Product:

      The evaluation is based on licensed products. "PSPROF", for example, is the product code or the product abbreviation.

    • Available:

      ... shows how often this license product is available.

    • Used:

      ... shows the currently used licenses.

    • Maximum:

      ... shows the maximum of licenses (ever used).

    • Borrowed [Checked out]:

      ... shows the number of checked out licenses.

      This refers to licenses that have been checked out in the module under ? -menu -> Licenses (F9) -> Checkout tab page.

    • Denied:

      Entries under Denied occur when a license for a specific product is no longer available.

      The user is informed by the respective dialog.

      Under ? menu -> Licenses (F9) -> Active licenses tab -> On license server option, the user can see who is currently using which license.

    • ID: Dynamically generated computer ID

    • Client: Host name of the client

  • Currently connected computers [Currently connected clients]:

    A computer is then connected, if he ever tried (successfully or not) to pull a license. Admin connections for the license administration are not included.

    In the dialog area on the left side the single computers accessing product licenses are displayed with specific information.

    When selecting a computer, on the right side the licenses used by the respective computer are listed.

    • ID: Dynamically generated computer ID

    • Hostname [Host name]:

    • OS: Operating system

    • User: Windows login or domain group name

    • Creation time [Time of creation] / Last access

      Lists the first time (creation time [Time of creation] ) or the last time (last access [Last access] ) the client in question used the license selected above in the Currently used licenses [Licenses currently in use] dialog area.

    • ID: Product license

  • Disconnect client

    You can use Disconnect computer [Disconnect client] to remotely disconnect a "forgotten" client and thus release the associated license.[23]
