3.1. Translate values in ERP fields

Values in ERP fields can now be translated.[18]

Example

  1. Fill the TRANSLATIONTABLE with the desired values.

    PARTlinkManager > "Extras [Extras]" menu > Database > Edit additional tables

    PARTlinkManager > "Extras [Extras]" menu > Database > Edit additional tables

    As a rule, filling is automated via scripting.

    Translations can be added, fetched and removed in vbs/c++:

    • addRecordToTranslationTable

    • getValuesFromTranslationTable

    • removeRecordFromTranslationTable

  2. Under Configure column display [Modify column display], set the option to Yes in the Translatable column for the desired variables.

  3. Open 3Dfindit or PARTdataManager.

    -> The values are displayed in the language of the respective user interface.
