If the Always visible option is set in the Dimensions [Dimensionings] docking window under 3D parameters [3D Parameter], the respective dimensioning is always displayed regardless of the rotation status of the component. This could be advantageous for certain dimensions such as overall dimensions, for example.

In V11 dimensionings had been hidden, if the rotation was over a certain degree.

Text will not get rotated.

2D view will also not be affected.

In older versions the feature is simply ignored and so dimensioning displayed quite normal.

Without this feature's activation the shown dimensioning would not be visible in this state of rotation.
